Cultural and Linguistic Rights Cover Design: A Blend of Tradition and Theme
For this Cultural Linguistic Rights Cover, I selected a painting that deeply represents the essence of Iranian culture and history. My goal was to create a visual identity that not only captures the book’s title but also conveys its profound central theme: the connection between democracy and ethnic rights in Iran.
The chosen painting is a masterful combination of traditional Iranian architecture, intricate geometric patterns, and a rich, vibrant color palette. These elements were specifically chosen to highlight the country’s diverse and rich cultural heritage. The design serves as a powerful visual metaphor, connecting the beauty of tradition with the modern-day discourse on rights and democracy.
I carefully added the title and the author’s name in a clear, legible font to the center of the painting. This was a deliberate choice to ensure the book’s message is immediately clear to the reader, while the typography complements the traditional aesthetic of the artwork. The final design is a testament to the power of a book cover to communicate a complex and important theme.
